A modernly equipped playroom in a child-friendly structure.

This is the ambitious project promoted and strongly supported by SPI Finestre in favor of employees’ families, with the patronage of a team of companies in the area: Callipo srl, Giacinto Callipo & sons, Vetromed.

The playroom was born from the awareness that the rhythms of modern life make it increasingly difficult to reconcile work and private life, with strongly negative repercussions on employment, especially on women.

On the initiative of SPI windows, to give life to the project, the sponsoring companies have set up a temporary association for the purpose, ATS, in order to extend the provision of services to the widest possible catchment area.

The idea turned into a concrete project after several months of work, during which the SPI team has long been engaged in an accurate search of a place and services to be offered on the basis of the actual needs of the families.

The playroom is now a reality. The services are provided in the “in house” mode by Eidema srl, Annalisa Ciccone’s service company, which operationally manages the activities of the game center.

The designated structure, located on the outskirts of the Maierato residential center, hosts the children of the employees of the companies participating in the project in lively rooms equipped with child-friendly furniture and advanced educational games.

Slides, pools full of soft and colorful balls, work tables and educational toys, are available to children who can count on the assistance of expert staff every day from 14:30 to 18:30, also for carrying out additional educational activities. .

The sports activities managed in “outsourcing” complete the range of services offered: three times a week children can take advantage of the football school and swimming school at the municipal swimming pool of Vibo Valentia.

The creation of the play center represents a further testimony of the attention that SPI pays to the territory and its human resources, and is part of the social initiatives for which the company continues to lavish commitment and resources.
